WINEMAKING

We selected vineyards from two areas:
The lower altitude vineyards
for structure and ripe fruit flavor.
The high altitude vineyard giving
a cooler growing season
producing more fruit flavors.
The grapes were manually picked,
then cold macerated for 72 hours
before alcoholic fermentation.
To ensure softness while
having sufficient tannins,
the wines are pressed before the end
of fermentation.
The wines are then aged
in barrels of French oak for 12 months.

TASTING NOTES

Dark red black color.
Intense plum, damson aromas
almost blackberry with tones
of vanilla well integrated.

Soft lush palate,
rich flavors of dark fruit.
The tannins are present
without being firm, smoky
dark fruit finish.

“A great wine for tomato based
pasta dishes. All meat dishes
and even barbecued fish.
Can also be enjoyed by itself.”
